Can my guild change sides Kur/Lux
Well as the title alludes to my question is this,
If I am the guild leader of a Kur guild can I change my alliance to Lux without having to destroy my guild and start over agian? 1) I am not the current leader of a guild 2) I have not completed faction so I do not know 3) I can not get to the wiki cause it is blocked at work 4) A guildie is looking to leave the Kur guild and start her own guild and wants to know if it is possible cause she is close to maxing the Kur title. thanks guys |

Yes, but it's your alliance leader that has to make the switch in House Zu Heltzer or Cavalon.

Yes you can, simply by talking to the appropriate Ambassador. The Luxon Ambassador is in Cavalon - the Kurzick one is in House Zu Heltzer. The guild leader is the only one who can change the alliance.
http://guildwars.wikia.com/wiki/Luxon_Ambassador In your guildie's case, it doesn't matter what level her Kurzick title is at. The Guild alliance is only for GvG - any member can have any amount of either faction and do any quests/missions in either territory. Last edited by Quaker; Jul 23, 2009 at 07:40 PM // 19:40.. |

to the above post- if the question is "can she be in a lux guild" I agree but if your maxing title you need to be able to donate to the alliance because after you have all skills for a faction the only method you have is amber/jade and that takes 2x as long.
so in basic yes the guild can be made luxon by the guild leader -if it is in an alliance the alliance will have to change also or it will need a new alliance your guild member could always join a faction farming guild that does fast faction clears to max title fast then return to guild. players of any faction level can be in any alliance I myself work on luxon title and have been in both kurzick and luxon alliances. no the guild alliance also effects the PVP of a player who converts their faction to the dude in the guild hall. If you give 5K faction you get 10,000 points.
I can get these points doing AB or JQ. Personally I AB and the person that I was asking for does the JQ So I was asking cause no sense in trying to max the kur title if I am in a Lux guild.... To the poster above me...sosycpsycho beat me to it.. thanks for the post by the way... How much does it cost to change the guild |

It costs 500g to set/change your alliance, btw. I'm not quite sure what your point is here. You don't need any alliance at all to do PvP - the only PvP type stuff that requires being allied is GvG and AB (and those competitive missions). If your guildie is concerned about maxing the Kurzick title, she can either do that before she changes alliance, or do it by buying skills or amber. |

It's possible but it resets your guild faction. To 500 or 5000 i forget. So if you guys pride on having over a million or 10 million faction...say bye bye to it.
